Friday Favorites: 02.12.21

This week, we're going with another theme: Second-hand and on-sale. Everything in this week's list is something I found while scouring Poshmark, eBay or the sale section. Shopping these sites feels like thrifting, which I greatly miss doing in-person.

There are a lot of Anthropologie finds in this list because it is easier to search second-hand sites by brand to get good results. Also, if you haven't figured it out by now... I'm a creature of brand habit.

Plus, I own some of these exact pieces, or very similar ones, and can share some insght into how they fit. Most purchases from these sites are final sale, so you need to do your research. I've tried to do some it for you this time! Enjoy!

Poshmark: Anthropologie's Holding Horses Magnolia Lace Dress

I own this dress in a light blue/periwinkle tone and can attest to how flattering it is. Whenever friends borrow my dresses, they always go to this one. It looks great on everyone! I will say that the lace doesn't have much "give" to it, so keep that in mind based on your chest size.

Cost: $107.00

Chairish: Henredon Campaign Night Stand, Side Table

If you're on the hunt for a piece of furniture with some character to it, check out Chairish! I've mentioned the site before but it deserves another shoutout. I browsed the sale section to find this great Henredon table. The brass adds a lot of interest and patina to the piece.

Cost: $351.00

Poshmark: Needle and Thread Gown

It is no secret that I love Needle & Thread. I have had this gown saved on my Poshmark for a very long time! There hasn't been a reason for me to purchase but maybe there will be for one of you. While I haven't worn this exact dress, I own a very similar one. The fit is very flattering, with tight sleeves that flare at the end and a ribbon around the waist.

Cost: $350.00

eBay: Anthropologie's Embroidered Dedhia Curtain Panels

It would take a very specific spot for these to work but you never know! I think they're gorgeous. Something as simple as two curtain panels could change the whole look of a room. If you're on the hunt for some unique curtains, try eBay!

Find them here. They're 108 x 50.

Cost: $218.00 for two panels

Poshmark: Anthropologie's Rochelle Eyelet Maxi Dress

My mom gets the credit for finding this dress! I ended up wearing it for my rehearsal dinner and have worn it for a blog photoshoot. The fabric is thick and you don't have to worry about it being see-through. The fit is nice as well, with flattering sleeves and a fitted waist.

I highly recommend it and hope someone snags the one on Poshmark.

Cost: $150.00

eBay: Serena and Lily Amalfi Quilt

This quilt would look great with bright, white bedding and some navy accent pillows. I definitely don't think you need the whole bedding set (pictured above) to find design success with this pretty quilt. This is a good price -- the cost of Serena and Lily's queen-size quilts are typically in the $250.00 range.

Cost: $165.00

Sale Section: J.Crew Cocoon coat in Italian stadium-cloth wool

I had this in my cart today and went back and forth on it sooooo many times. Ultimately, I decided not to go for it because I never leave my house in a nice coat these days and I'm trying to get better about purchasing things I don't need/won't need for the season. But I might regret it later. I'm going to sleep on it!

J. Crew's sale section is incredible. The prices are unbelievable and, personally, I've always had good experiences with J. Crew's quality.

The pricing varies by color, but I believe both pictured here are $111 each after the discounts are added. The final price will show in your cart -- it is the sale price plus extra off with code SPRING.

Cost: $111.00

Send me your ideas for Friday Favorites as you have them! Thanks to everyone who has so far.
